Princes Trust Team Programme Morecambe

We are currently in the process of recruiting unemployed 16-25 year olds for our Prince’s Trust 12 week programme run by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service which starts Monday 13th February 2017.

Our last team was very successful and the following details shows how much the young people have achieved in such a short amount of time with us.

  •  4 young people gained employment during the course
  •  An additional young person gained employment the week after the course finished
  • 1 young person will be returning to education
  • 2 young people secured volunteering placements that are relevant to their employment goals
  •  Every young person assessed showed improvement in their literacy and numeracy levels
  •  Every young person said they would recommend the course to a friend

As you are all aware, the success of the Prince’s Trust programme for the past 20 years at Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service would not have been possible without your help in referring young people to our service.

If you work with any young people who you think would benefit from taking part in our programme, you can contact Paula Winder on Office: (01524) 413358 or Mobile: 07799114688 or email PaulaWinder@lancsfirerescue.org.uk
