Burnley Boys & Girls Club has positioned itself to be able to offer a range of positive alternatives, for our young people of Burnley. Through the use of recreational activities, a creation of safe and welcoming spaces and structured educational programmes offered by trained and skillful staff & Volunteers.

Burnley Boys & Girls Club have been selected to participate in the V.I.Y. Project which was initially piloted in 2011 in south London, the project has now been extended throughout England and Wales, funded by “The Big Lottery”.

The project will include a range of hands on experience within the building sector. During the project the “Trade Mentors” will guide all the practical work on the project. The young people who attend and finish the project will gain accredited level 3 entry qualifications in association with “City & Guilds” this will help young people move up the ladder to a better future, whilst having the enjoyment of renovating their own youth club.
