Young People from Lancaster’s Re-Fresh (Cancer Care) Group enjoying the warm glow of an open fire, while baking bread and eating marshmallows!

Suppported by Grant from the John Laing Charitable Trust Fund (administered by the Community Foundation of Lancashire) bushcraft sessions offer a wide range of opportunities for young people to develop new skills, these include: basic tool use, woodworking, knot tying, shelter building, outdoor cooking, natural crafts and fire building.

Through this grant we are able to support at least two more bushcraft sessions this year for youth groups; if you’d be interested to find out more please email: leon@labgc.org.ukÂ
