“All young people have the right to have a say about things that affect them especially when adults are making decisions about things that affect young people”. Article 12 – UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) 1989.
We all need to ensure we provide opportunities for young people to influence and shape our service delivery; and to that effect, the Association aims to provide a platform ~ The Youth Ambassadors Programme ~ to allow young people to share their concerns, discuss issues that are relevant to them and explore new opportunities and experiences to support young people’s personal, social development.

We are now calling on clubs keen to be involved in this programme from day one… to help the Association shape and build on this new initiative for you, our members, and the network of youth organisations across the county as a whole.
